Monsieur Bernard BOUR 1952 – 2019

It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the passing, on 8 November 2019 at the age of 67 years, of our dear friend, colleague and former CLGE President Monsieur Bernard Bour.

The ‘Istanbul Declaration’

The Istanbul Declaration on ethical principles for the profession of geodetic surveying was signed by CLGE President Maurice Barbieri and President of the Chamber of Survey and Cadastre Engineers Orhan Kasap on 28 September 2019 in Istanbul (TR).

Results of the CLGE Students’ Contest 2019

The CLGE Students’ Contest Awarding ceremony took place on 18 September 2019 in Stuttgart, (DE).

GISCAD-OV Accepted in Horizon 2020

After many years of fruitful cooperation with the GSA (since the CLGE Seminar in Umeå – 2011) CLGE managed to submit a successful bid at the European Commission. Together with a strong consortium led by the Italian GeoWeb and SOGEI, the GISCAD-OV project was approved by the European Commission on 14 August 2019 within the H2020 Programme.

CLGE gets fair with our Atmosphere

In Dublin, the CLGE Ex-Board has decided to compensate the Carbon Offset of its meetings from now on. This is done in cooperation with www.atmosfair.de
